Who is Shelli Birkett?

Shelli Birkett is an award winning, international artist from Herne Bay, Kent.

Specialising in urban abstract artworks on canvas, as interior/exterior murals and on furniture.

‘Living with autism I have always viewed the world differently to most, scrutinising the intricacy of everything around me. I have a huge appreciation for fine details; textures, colour combinations and eclectic subjects and I use art as a way to channel the constant influx of ideas inside this over active mind of mine.
I am fascinated by the beauty of individualism and the fine details of everything we take for granted. I really appreciate the vast array of life forms and structures within this bewildering world we live in and I like to create exaggerated works of art that can help others fully comprehend the characteristics of every glorious element surrounding us.
